In my 20s, I was a corporate girly by day and yoga-loving hippie by night
What you’ll find on my blog
In my 30s, I grew into a passionate teacher, guiding my students via the Ashtanga Yoga tradition of Sri K Pattabhi Jois.
About me…
Hi, I’m Nadira! Welcome to my corner of the internet where we celebrate life after 40 – a space for women who are ready to embrace empowerment, wellness, and financial independence with grace, wisdom, and a lot of fun.
This is me in brief
How it all began
As a student of yoga, I learned the importance of strength, resilience, and self-care. Over time, these lessons extended beyond the mat, and I realised that many women over 40 struggle with reclaiming their power – mentally, emotionally, and financially.
Navigating through the various setbacks and challenges in my life, I realised how many of us were never taught to handle them with strength, grace and resilience. Instead, society and maybe even family, inculcated within us the fear of being or asking for ‘too much’. Over generations, this has programmed us into ‘playing small’ for fear of attracting too much attention or some other BS.
In my 40s, I embraced entrepreneurship by becoming a boutique yoga studio owner!
Through these years, like virtually every woman I know, I have experienced many versions of pain, mental, emotional, physical. Healing from them has been a journey, but the lessons I’ve learned have been invaluable.
As I approach my 50s, I am using all of the knowledge and experience that I have accumulated over to create this blog - a place to inspire, uplift and empower other women navigating midlife.
I’m excited to share what I’ve learned about thriving after 40 with you. Who says we can't keep getting better with age?

This is a space for for women navigating their 40s, and are committed to creating healthier, more fulfilling lives, with a focus on self-love, self-care, and personal growth.
I support the ancient practice of women supporting women; and this is my own little contribution of inspiring and empowering my sisters to stand in their own power and believe in themselves.
What to expect
Here, you’ll find resources on physical wellness, mental health, and financial independence - all aimed at empowering women over 40 to lead healthier, more intentional lives. This space is dedicated to women who are redefining their lives with confidence and grace.
Over the years, I have sorta, kinda figured out my preferred route to wellness. It’s a fairly long and bumpy road so your journey has to be peppered with lots of patience, mercy, forgiveness and grace.
I believe that the first step to success is physical health. They say that your body is a temple. It houses your brain and your lifeforce. It is the physical manifestation of your soul and the main building block of your reality.
